Brazil Foundation mobilizes resources to invest in actions that transform Brazil. We connect leaders and civil society organizations with global support networks that promote equity, socio-environmental justice, and opportunities that have produced transformative results in Brazil.

Years ago, due to an initiative by Leona Forman, some friends got together in New York to discuss how they could contribute to a better Brazil. The idea was to build a support network with leaders and initiatives working to transform the country. That plan became the basis for what BrazilFoundation is today. The initial aim remains: to identify and support solutions that allow a future of equal access, social justice, and opportunities for all Brazilians.

Brazil Foundation supports social organizations that present creative, low-cost solutions with high social impact that can be replicated in larger-scale programs. In addition to financial investment, we continuously guide organizations during support cycles, offering training and contributing to strengthening operations within and beyond their areas of operation.

We connect people and families to organizations that promote social equality and opportunities for the Brazilian population. Our call for proposals include Black Entrepreneurship Fund, Gender Equity Fund, Environment and Climate Change Fund, and Your support allows organizations to carry out their work and improve the lives of thousands of people in Brazil.
